The ALSSAR Color Guard and Honor Guard took part in a flag retirement ceremony hosted by Kristi Averett, DAR, and Girl Scouts of America in July 2022.
Martin and I set up displays and shared information with the public at the Prattaugan Museum on July 4, 2022. To say it was hot is an understatement. The Color Guard and Honor Guard of Alabama SAR participated in marking the grave of a Revolutionary War patriot in Madison, AL in August 2022.
Martin gave his black powder safety class for the Mississippi SAR over this past weekend. He was accompanied by Joe Barker, David Jones, Michael Araiza, and David Michael Martin Jr from Alabama SAR.
